Meet some of our outstanding Alumni
Rebecca Freitas
Rebecca Freitas started her college experience pursuing a degree in architecture. She soon found that it was too abstract for her, plus she knew she didn’t want to be behind a desk all of the time. With a combination of good math skills and good people skills, Rebecca found her niche at the Del E. Webb School of Construction.
Joy Marsalla
When Joy Marsalla was nearing high school graduation, she had little idea about what major to sign up for in college. She took a look at what she liked to do—math and science, but also an affinity for water from fond memories of family camping trips that were often near lakes and rivers. She combined the two and recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering.
Nathan Dunkin
Nathan Dunkin received an NSF Fellowship to focus on water treatment and sanitation research. He hopes to raise the quality of life in developing countries.
Jeremy Meek
You could say Jeremy Meek was born into the construction business – or that it happened even before his actual birth. “I’m told I was on job sites while still in the womb,” Meek says.
